Week Twelve, Cyberpunk
This week we watched the movie Paprika, which really makes the viewer think a lot about what is going on in the movie. It is really quite crazy.
In the movie, the characters travel between the real world and the dream world, which is starting to be infected by someone traveling there. Over time, this world tries to break into the real world. What is crazy is the shift between these two, going in different realities and keeping track of what's really there. Not only does the character have to figure this out, but the viewer has to also think, "what am I really looking at right now?"
Overall this was a very interesting movie that has us gripping our attention to it. Different realities intrigue the viewer, causing more thoughts and questions, which this movie did well.
